Multiple passwords on a single website

  • Hello, I'm not sure if this is Vivaldi specific, but Vivaldi seems to remember only one password even when I need different passwords for different webpages within a single website. Is there a provision to handle this situation? Cheers, Ryo

  • It's about the different password manager, Firefox can remember more user names/passwords for the same website, while Chromium based browsers can't
You could use some extension which manage to do that

  • Aha! Thank you for the explanation and the information!

  • @GinoPerla:

but that chromium based problem can be "fixed" or is it hard?

  • It's not a problem, it's about the different password manager.
Chromium's password manager works that way.
Firefox's one is different, and slightly better I think.

This is the reason there are many popular extensions for Chrome which manage to save many passwords for the same website

You can use the program KeePass to insert/store passwords for different URL.

Better than a extension which stores the passwords on servers in the cloud.
