On Wednesday 14th of April at 9 am UTC, we will update Vivaldi's servers (see the time in your timezone). We expect it will take up to 12 hours. During this time there will be some downtime on the Forum, Sync and Community Blogs and Webmail. For status of the services, check https://vivaldistatus.com. Thanks in advance for your patience.

Can't access to Webmail in China. Ping results failed on ping websites anywhere.

@Gaëlle Some nice features missing to use Vivaldi Webmail:
- Add/Edit Contacts in other programs by WebDav
- Add/Edit Calendar by CalDav

Since we're discussing webmail, is there a way to be notified of incoming mail? The checker+ extension for gmail is gold.
That and the 5G limit are my main concerns.
Thanks.

@paul1149
Have you tried the notification options in Settings > Mailbox view > New message?

@jane-n said in Vivaldi Webmail just got updated:
@paul1149
Have you tried the notification options in Settings > Mailbox view > New message?Yes, thank you. Nice, but it doesn't go nearly far enough for what i need. First, the webmail page must be open, second, there is no persistent record of incoming, and third, there is no way to read/manage the mail besides going to the page (I suppose a panel would solve that).

Found a bug:
"Date format" setting at Settings > User Interface > Main Options is ignored in Calendar
I prefer a UK style date - Day Month Year order, and have set the date format accordingly. However the Calendar in Week or Day view indicate the date in "Short month name"-Day format (eg Mar-6), where I would expect to see "6 Mar".
This issue can be avoided if there is a separate row for days of week in Week view (and, in Day view, a separate field for a full date in desired format such as "Friday, 6 March" on top)
Cheers, MM

I can't seem to access the calendar with the new version. How can I do that?
-
@xapse You should have icons at top right or on the left, depending on which User Interface you have chosen in Settings. I use the Larry Vivaldi UI, and the button for the calendar is at top right: Mail, Contacts, Calendar, Settings.

Oh! Yes, I don't know how I missed those. Thank you, Pesala.
-
When I used, it was user-friendly. It was much better than the previous Roundcube Web mail.
-
I am liking it but had to totally reconfigure to my way of working as I guess there was no method to save my customized views.
Perhaps I'll put that into a Feature Request.
