[HELP] How do I export Vivaldi's bookmarks?

  • Hi, How do I export vivaldi's bookmarks? Thank you, newscpq

  • Depending on which version you're on, you can paste this into your address bar: vivaldi://bookmarks and export them from there. This is broken in some more recent snapshots, along with several other internal pages. Otherwise, Vivaldi's own, native bookmark manager does not currently support exporting.

Edit: Although, if you're wanting to import them to another Chromium browser, you could try going to your Vivaldi installation path and copying "Bookmarks" to its corresponding location within the file system of the new browser.

  • Thank you.

    As you wrote: vivaldi://bookmarks doesn't work… i'll wait.

The webpage at chrome://bookmarks/ might be temporarily down or it may have moved permanently to a new web address.

  • If you are in a hurry copy the bookmarks file in a other chromium based browser from your Vivaldi's profile folder:
    C:\Users\Me\AppData\Local\Vivaldi\User Data\Default\Bookmarks
    to the other one

Then export them into html or whatever from your chromium based browser

EDIT: If you want you can do the same trick with an older version of Vivaldi
