Profile page a bit messy since last forum update
-
The last forum update brought a bunch of new features which is great!
Unfortunately, now that the "Best posts made by" are displayed on the user's profile page by default, the page seems a bit messy because the two columns are too close to each other. So close that even the date of the post (left column) is hidden by the right column (see examples below) :

@Ornorm BTW, I don't see the benefit of having «Best posts» and «Latest posts» side by side on user's profile page.
-
@hlehyaric Me neither to be honest... (just didn't want to be too selfish because I thought others might want to have that... otherwise, I would also share my thoughts about the new design of the upvote button that I don't like at all! )

As for me, I think I'll give an additional time, trying count on things taking their due places in my perception, for establish a possible better judgement.
Initially, I think best ones exposed in quantity, soon at beginning, may favor a better and comprehensive appreciation respecting the viewed user.
In my personal case, many will take the chance on learning how conquer reputation writing about nothing (or as I use to say about "zucchini talks"). An authentic prowess!

I agree, seeing the Best posts there by default makes no sense. If I wanted to see them I would just choose it from the dots menu. However having the latest posts is useful as sometimes you remember someone posted something or you want to check on a possible spammer.
I say make it like it was. Me no likey change

@Ornorm Report it in the bugtracker so the devs can handle it.
-
Thanks @Ornorm for raising this issue. We inherited this new feature from nodeBB which is also flawed but one of our dev is looking into it to see if it can be fixed.
-
@Ornorm again thank you for raising this issue. It's now been fixed.
-
@gaelle looks much better, thanks! Just wondering if it's possible to show latest first? On mobile devices the best posts are shown first and that's not really useful when
stalkinglooking at post history. -
@gaelle Thanks a lot! And I see that the thumbs up has been modified as well
-
@Pathduck great input. We'll look into this asap.
