Netflix won't work with Vivaldi (Win7 Ultimate x64)
-
I literally tested everything that could cause this issue.
I always get some sort of error code from Netflix, when trying to play a video.
Yes widevine and the other components are up to date, yes my vivaldi version (snapshot standalone) is up to date...Sometimes the Netflix title is loading forever, and most of the times I quickly get a ''whoops'' M7703-1003 (error code)
I get several different error codes for some reason.
I even tried a guest window, which is without any extensions or anything.
I checked on my antivirus program, that wasn't blocking Netflix playback, I still added netflix to it's whitelist to make sure.
I've just recently read, that vivaldi doesn't have the neccesary codecs for Netflix playback/streaming services.
But that doesn't make any sense, since other users are able to run Netflix.
It works perfectly with google chrome for me, but never worked with vivaldi.
Besides that I was wondering if vivaldi does play Netflix videos in 1080p, or is it just 720p? -

No solution/workaround yet.

@Hadden89 First of all Netflix must work with vivaldi, which is not the case at the moment. Do you know a solution for that perhaps?
-
@hyperboraeer I knew that SD videos used to work, while HDs never worked due missing codec in Vivaldi.
But I can't be sure as I don't have a account. -
@hyperboraeer
Hi, as @Hadden89 mention, all videos work in Netflix but with reduced quality because of missing codec.
If you cant play anything there must be something different.Cheers, mib
