Gmail webpanel stuck in desktop view
-
Hi,
Gmail (and coincidentally Outlook) don't seem to want to display as mobile pages within webpanels and instead are stuck as desktop views despite their panels being in mobile view state.
I've tried clearing cookies and browser caches but they persist. Switching back and forth between desktop an dmobile views doesn't resolve it either.
Can anyone provide a workaround or is this a bug in webpanels?

@aventura_viper @SVGuss had the same problem a while back.
He seems to have solved it.

@Pesala Unfortunately I haven't. The desktop view returned by itself in a month or so. Something is wrong, but if this is a problem on the side of Gmail or Vivaldi, I have no clue.

Have you tried to force the mobile view mode?

@Pathduck said in Gmail webpanel stuck in desktop view:

https://mail.google.com/mail/x/Didn't know /x/ was mobile view.
That works to a point but it doesn't like multi user login. mail.google.com/mail/x/u/0 and mail.google.com/mail/x/u/1 for example work correctly in a normal vivaldi tab but adding them as two webanels results in only the first panel added loading (so second panel has same state/content/account as the first).

I use mobile view Gmail on Panel but is not pleasant/nice as whatsapp, google translate
I need:
- when i click wheel on mouse i want open new normal card whit gmail not mobile
- all favicon with 4gmail acount is this same (it's hard to distinguish which one belongs to a given account)

@lbcichy Can't help you with that I'm afraid...
BTW - Welcome to the Vivaldi Community

Hi, I know it's work for Vivaldi ..owner. I wanted to say what bothers me
thanks, I really like Vivaldi -
I'm also having a problem with gmail not showing properly in the panel. it's showing as full desktop version and it's unusable unless i expand the width of the panel almost to the full width of the screen. i might as well not use the panel.

@aventura_viper If it is still of interest, you may want to try Panel Extension For Gmail - it opens in a separate window, which I then saved as a web panel on the side bar. Works so far.
