Saved pics in a folder

Snapshot putting saved pics in a seperate
folder?
Stable not doing this? -
@leegb11 Could you please elaborate what you mean?
-
Are these actual questions or are you just using "?" instead of "!" ?
If I save pics by default are saved in my Download location set in settings/downloads exactly as other files.
Vivaldi doesn't make distinctions on file type/mime type, it simply can't yet. -
@Pathduck If i save a pic to my download folder a new folder is created for each site I on - using double click extension .Stable OK Will go back to stable when site muting is fixed!
-
@leegb11 said in Saved pics in a folder:
using double click extension
then it's a problem in the extension
-
@leegb11 You can't just assume people know what extension you're using. I'd be happy to try to reproduce it, but I need to know the extension. Also it's probably an issue with the extension not being compatible with the version of Chromium which Vivaldi is built on top of, which is not the same version as in Stable.

Sorry guessed is the add on.
-
@leegb11 OK I tried with that extension in Snapshot, double clicked an image, and it was downloaded to my default Downloads folder.
I also tried with the Stable, same thing.
-
@Pathduck
i still gettin this. -
@leegb11 And what's in those folders? Only the image?
That structure with a folder per site is what you get if you save a webpage as "HTML complete" with the Save As dialog.
Have you changed any setting in the extension?
-
@Pathduck Yes mate one pic in each folder - settings same as in stable.
Enable file renaming checked but no pattern changed. -
@leegb11 Pretty sure it's not a Vivaldi issue. But try without the renaming checked, you shouldn't enable it anyway if you don't change from the default. Other than that, I can't help, sorry. Try the extension support if it exists.

@Pathduck
Ta unchecked file renaming and seems to work fine now!Well done.
