-Legacy- Better theme blending for extensions toggle

  • What is this?

    A quick mod for a better theme blending on the extensions popup.
    It will place the Accent color as background which is good for the most themes you could have.

    .button-popup-wrapper {background-color: var(--colorAccentBg);}
    .ExtensionDropdownIcon button:hover {background-color: var(--colorBgAlphaHeavier);}
    .HiddenToggleExtensionIcon {background-color: var(--colorAccentBg);}

    Nice, can I see the changes?

    If you are using the extension toggle dropdown:

    Before:
    ext_popup_before.PNG
    After:
    extpopup_after.PNG

    If you are not using the extension dropdown in settings:

    Before: ext_before.PNG
    After: ext_after.PNG

  • Great idea! ๐Ÿ‘

  • @Hadden89 I'm maybe missing something but I have this by default...
    (is the objective to have the extension popup having the color of the address bar or is it something else? just for my knowledge)

  • @Ornorm
    I guess depends on how your theme is made, as the mod use the accent color to replace the (popup) bg color and the bg transparency for the hover status.

    Try with this:

    Glacial:
    Background: 141414
    Foreground: ffffff
    Highlight: 01efef
    Accent 09b9b9

    Theme preferences and corner rounding off.

  • Add a third line for the "old-new" toggle behaviour (latest snap) ๐Ÿ™‚
    (The mod will work both with dropdown on or off)

  • I think this is implemented in current stable/snapshot ๐Ÿ™‚
