Does the downloaded vivaldi RPM install the vivaldi repo?

This is not really great as we want to only use our internal repos that we add approved updates to. I'd even mark this a bug - adding the repo should be a separate rpm IMHO.

Hi and yes it add the repro.
As some user not even know what a repro is and experienced Linux users could easy disable or delete repro I cant see any problems and a bug at all here.Cheers, mib

Does depend on the distro you use. Their repo is not compatible with the format Mageia uses (from personal experience) for example. I'm pretty sure OpenSUSE and Fedora will work.

It's just that it's an unexpected behavior. The general expectation is that there's a repo rpm if you want to install the repo. That would be an easy way to do things, and in line with other RHEL programs.
