hmmm RC2 and still no Ctrl+Enter fix. Now that's sad...
-
checking... actually not much changed.
-
@npro: There will not be one before final. The code that was used for Ctrl+Enter was highly complex, did not work as it was intended and caused other issues. Adding it back at this stage would break other things. We need to think about this option more before it could be re-added.
-
@ian-coog: It has if you are a linux user
-
@ian-coog: Also you shouldn't expect too much from an updated RC. If there were lots of changes it would imply that we called it RC too soon
-
Arrow keys in search field still broken.
I hate that thing. -

That's exactly what I feel, but it's about getting used to it. Waiting for the first 3.0 SS for the actual fixes as usual

@drv42: works here

I think they mean the bug with the dropdown not appearing if NumLock is On...
-
@ian-coog: I'm hoping we are all the way there now
-
Thank you for fixing the Proprietary media setup/update on Linux, is working fine now.
Cheers, mib

@pathduck: yes
-
@ruario Thanks for spending some time explaining. That still doesn't mitigate the pain of something so fundamental -since the days of Netscape?- as Ctrl+Enter to not be working in a stable software. I still don't agree with forced "stable" releases that are not 100% functional on core things like that because of damn marketing deadlines, reminds me of broken Opera with its 15 "stable" crash & bug fixes, which is an example to avoid.
-
@npro: I'd question that it was fundamental (though I fully appreciate it may be to you). The feature made more sense in the early days of the internet when their were limited TLDs. That is not the case now, far from.
Nonetheless we are considering the situation and how best something like this should work in the modern world.
-
damn marketing deadlines
The release schedule for updates like this has nothing to do with marketing and everything to do with security updates from upstream chromium
-
@mib2berlin: Thanks for confirming and thanks for the report last time
-
Please, fix the Classic Style Menu bug. Every other Drop-down menu is also affected I think:
-
Any change to make vivaldi://flags/#global-media-controls work?
-
@ruario: Yeah, thanks for fix video playing in Linux, but there are two issues prevent me from set Vivaldi as default browser: Katalon recorder extension is not working at all, and nether lighthouse, that is on audits on dev tools.
