Opera Software tests Cloudflare DNS over HTTPS in Opera 65
Any such similar feature in pipeline from Vivaldi ?

DoH is in chromium so it isn't even the choice of Opera or Vivaldi.
If you have a browser based on chrome 78 you can enable it.
Currently the Vivaldi snapshot has it
vivaldi://flags/#dns-over-https

personally not trusting opera since their base is current chrome 65 and chrome 77 is the vivaldi base.
That's not right. The current stable release of Opera is on Chrome 77. Opera hasn't been on Chrome 65 for like a year & half or so, whenever everyone else was.

Please stay with correct wording. The used Chromium codebase in Vivaldi is not Chrome.
I debated which way to phrase my reply, the correct Chromium which both browsers are based on, or Chrome which was used in the text I quoted. Thank you for the clarification, I shouldn't have added to the confusion.

@Rafale Opera ASA owned by the chinese conglomerate... Opera is notorious for taking a thing that concerns all and which they didn't develop, announcing it -usually a month earlier- as the 2nd coming of Christ to present it as their "killer" "godlike" feature, because in fact they don't have anything substantial to show on their own for a long time, (except for redesigning the Startpage some hundreds of times), for example they called Chromium's dark theme that anyone could enable via chrome://flags or via a target shortcut in Brave, Edge, Chrome, Vivaldi etc as "the new standard of browsing", R3 or S4 or V5... It's a lame practice if you ask me and one of the many reasons I rejected them a long time ago.
If you check the same site you will find news from 2018 about Mozilla wanting to implement it, Cloudflare launching it in April 2018, Firefox implementing it in August 2018 in their developer stream, September 2019 officialy, etc, etc...Configure DNS Over HTTPS in Firefox
Mozilla plans to roll out DNS over HTTPS to US users in late September 2019
Google plans to test DNS over HTTPS in Chrome 78so that's nothing new, nothing original and no invention of their own, they are just following Chromium but do the smartass.

They lost me when they ditched Presto. I tried really hard to be a team player, to stick with them as they brought the new browser up to snuff. Their whole attempt at redefining bookmarks though was too misguided and too long lived. By the time they finally acquiesced and brought bookmarks back I had already moved on to other browsers. It was a tough few years never feeling quite at home in my browser until Vivaldi came along picked up the torch that Opera had dropped. On the desktop I was home again. But my browsing experience wasn't complete until my faith was rewarded and the Android beta was opened to the public. Now there are just a few minor tweaks & a couple of important features left (implementing extensions on Android is the most important), but being able to sync bookmarks makes my research flow much more streamlined. Opera is but a distant memory, Vivaldi is the present and foreseeable future.
