Address bar and menu improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1697.4

@mtaki14 Then I'm very lucky that one of my mods (I don't know which one) does revert this for me.
-
@Aronand Does that mean you have already reported it, or should I do?
-
@potmeklecbohdan: Why would you not want the new behaviour though?
-
@mtaki14 it actually still shifts the page if you press F4 (toggle panles on/off) and F6 (toggle bookmarks panel) so when only the sidebar is visible, the page still gets shifted/unshifted. Just toggling the panels on/off now indeed don't shift the page, it's still something better than before
-
-
@ian-coog: Indeed, though personally I only use F4 so I never would have noticed
-
@aronand: I sent the bug report, but no crash report because the updated Vivladi did not run.
-
@Aronand I've updated the case, even if I wasn't able to completely reproduce the exact case in a clean profile. But close enough that it's probably related.
-
@Aronand I submitted a bug and crash report on this too, FWIW. VB-58949
-
@raed Unable to confirm. I have only one extension installed.

@Aronand said in Address bar and menu improvements – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1697.4:
@saudiqbal: Hey, not able to reproduce the issue here on w10, what OS are you running?
Windows 10, open the address bar drop down menu and click anywhere on the speed dial empty area. it should close but it does not.
-
@saudiqbal I can reproduce this.
-
@pathduck: Thanks, I'm able to reproduce now
-
@ian-coog: Confirmed the issue, we'll look into it, thanks
