How to take awesome autumn photos

@quhno: No need to post on Instagram, you can post here too. We say "Share your Autumn images with us on the forum and social media". Some prefer social media, some prefer the forum

Geo-tagging
(always use caution with geo-tagging)If you are using a camera with no geo-tagging feature and you want to add this info you can use the excellent GeoSetter freeware for Windows.
It handles many RAW formats and uses the world leader in EXIF tagging by Phil Harvey. This clever software will use the focal info from the photo EXIF when you place on the map and orient in the direction you were facing, so you can see where on the map the camera is focused.
You can also batch process a load of images with geo-tag data for use with plotting a journey for exporting.
https://geosetter.de/en/screenshots-en/I often use it for a simple task like adding my own copyright and contact info to a bunch of images, and saved a basic profile especially for this.

@OlgaA I meant more that I can't view them if you post the images in stories there, because as soon as I scroll a certain amount, it will nag me with the overlay.
Quote from the blog post:
On Instagram, we’ll share them in Stories.

Unfortunately, taken with my 10 years old phone... (crappy quality/resolution)
The picture was taken yesterday and I still don't understand how the Vivaldi logo appeared on that virginia creeper wall -
With cataracts in both eyes now I don't do much photography anymore When I was posting I always made sure to Clear all Metadata... Just my paranoia.
All my originals are archived with all metadata, so when I am able to work again I will have it all and decide what metadata to include.
We have a spot near where I used to live. The Agawa Canyon. There is a rail day trip from Sault Ste Marie there in the fall. It is so popular you have to book a year in advance. I never remember.@DrFlay Thanks for mentioning that Open Camera. Something I will have to try.
-
@ruario: So where can I Post to snapshots? Through my Blog?
-
@Dr-Flay Believe it or not MS used to have a great photo editor that would also do that on their mapping platform. Sadly gone now, like LogParser.
-
@greybeard Yeah I used to use the MS Pro Phototools software for adding the location and copyright info, but it relied on the Bing 3D maps installation which they stopped supporting.
-
Do you swear it's not photo montage? Just a joke, do not take into consideration.
-
@JoaBravo I swear

@Dollify I see it's your first comment so "Welcome to Vivaldi".

I ABSOLUTELY LOVE this feature!! I'm a beginner video editor and Vivaldi now has a feature for me!! Amazing update. Love it!

Yep, they've been done. Now I have to get fibocals. Never needed them for reading or computer use before $aving now.
@MoonDawg, Thanks for your thoughts. -

I hear those work miracles for the digestion
-
@greybeard: A pair of drug store magnifiers worked for me. Never got used to bifocals.
