Thai Judge Shoots Himself in Court
Even the Prime Minister in the UK is not above the law.
In the US, the president is not above the law either, but he is trying his best to influence it.
The Just Make A Proper Investigation
“He is not thereby just because he hastily arbitrates cases.
The wise man should investigate both right and wrong.” (Dhammapada v 256)

@Pesala I am not so sure if politics shall be discussed in Vivaldi forums. Too many contrary opinions might spoil the common sense of growing together by using the same Browser.

@kahukura You might be right. Discussing ethics is my idea of fun, but it might not be for everyone.

I was doing jury duty recently. Without going in to too many details, it can be very difficult to make a judgement sometimes - especially an impartial one based solely on evidence.
Protections for those involved in the justice system are necessary to make the process work better. I always lean towards privacy, but things like total anonymity need to be bounded in order to maintain proper transparency and accountability.
I'm not really sure where the problem lies in this case, but everyone including judges should feel safe and supported if they want to offer criticism of the system - which evidently didn't happen here.
