Speed dial icons - use site favicon option

Re: [Request] Site favicons for Speed Dial thumbnails
I find the speed dial thumbnails pretty useless! It's not immediately obvious what the thumbnail is for, and it should be, and even set to "tiny" size they're still quite large. The old posting (ref above) about this comments that at 16x16 favicons are too small, but Chrome does a good job enlarging them on its speed dial page, no reason Vivaldi can't do the same. I find them much better than thumbnails, and setting custom icons is pretty lame as well - Vivaldi should store them internally and sync them across platforms, it's pretty useless otherwise!
While we're at it, I think speed dial icons should be moveable and placeable explicitly (Android behviour), rather than the iOs style auto layout. I want to be able to group them however I like! -
Hi,
the old Opera12 had the best behavior.
Current Opera is still better than Vivaldi, but I recall it took them quite some time to finalize it.I think we have to be patient and give the team some time.

Would also very much like to see this. Have continually come back to and left Vivaldi over the past few years for a couple reasons, this being one of them.

@pmstirling Vote for Option to Detect Mobile Touch Icons Instead of Thumbnails
I think that these icons are much larger than 16x16 pixels, which is why they look good in Opera.
I am happy with creating my own speed dial thumbnails, which is fine if you have fewer than 20 speed dial thumbs, but time consuming for users who have a lot.
