Password Manager update feature interfering with password reset.
-
I was asked today to reset a password by a website as a security measure. No problem, I understand why ... So there is the popup window with two lines on over the other. Nothing unusual here. The first was the new password. The second was the confirmation retype. On entering the new password in the upper field, a field pops up on the bottom lip of the password field asking me to open password management. I really didn't pay to much attention to what it said because of what it did. It covered the lower confirmation fiels and I couldn't get rid of it. I clicked all over and it would NOT go away. Worse if I clicked it it took me off the password reset page and I had to go back and do it all again. How I finally got rid of it was by grabbing the box via the title bar and shaking it all over my monitor. Then it disappeared, I was able to confirm the password and send it. But now I have to wrong password in the manager.
No. This is unacceptable. What happened to the notification at the top that asks you if you want to save the update. Now that's the way to do it. What a pain!
You really need to implement a method of editing the passwords in the privacy settings. Then I could have manually fixed it.

Wow, tell me about it.
What bothers me is that I've done password resets before on Vivaldi and NEVER saw that popup before and never had a problem until yesterday. -
