Horizontal menu hovering – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1662.4

@potmeklecbohdan I spoke too soon. The thumbnail folder image still has no transparency.
/*Transparent Speed Dial Folders*/ .speeddial .dial-columns .folder .thumbnail .thumbnail-image { box-shadow: none !important; border-width: 0; transition: all 0s ease 0s; } .speeddial .dial-columns .folder .thumbnail .thumbnail-image { background: transparent; background: none !important; } .speeddial .dial-columns .folder .thumbnail .folder-flap { display: none; }
-
@Pesala You didn't, but you then changed the code… But if you remove
.folder .thumbnail
from first two block and change the third.thumbnail
to.thumbnail-image
, everything should work.By the way, one of the two lines in the second block is useless…

I am noticing a strange behaviour I never noticed before, when left clicking inside a tab stack of 2 or more tabs, on the title or slightly below it, the 2 tabs gets switched each time. Normally I had to click on the upper part of the tab stack to select which of the tabs to activate it. This is mostly annoying for me.
EDIT: I thought the setting "Minimize Active tab" was set, but it's not, when I set it, now each left click inside the tab stack title, quickly switches tab2/tab1. This seems a bug to me. -
Probably related: opening a link in the background from a stacked tab changes active tab (VB-57275).
-
@ryanchuang: I can reproduce this with Vivaldi Linux / 64-bit. Middle click with mouse opens links in a new foreground tab instead of a new background tab. Also probably related: when closing the new tab created like this the wrong tab is made active.
-
@knoelli: Thank you,yes,opt out the "As Tab Stack with Related Tab",the issue is gone.
-
@lcd047: Thank you,so I am not paranoia that something is wrong.
-
@ian-coog: Yes,I did have same weird behaviour in here. Just hoped someone in developing would notice too.
-
@ian-coog: The whole stack is a mess. I even do not know how to describe it. Really buggy.
-
Some very nice fixes in this build , but unfortunately it broke the bookmark menu in the horizontal menu for me :
Bookmark folders aren't at the top anymore, but between the other bookmarks. When using the Vivaldi logo instead of the horizontal menu they are at the top, so I guess this is a bug?
Can anyone confirm this, is this already reported?Windows 7 x64
-
Would love to see a fix for VB-52446 (Page crash with Frisian language)
-
@Ryanchuang: It's not just the stack, it's the whole tab access code which is a mess. So much so, I've gone back to 1657.8.
Set up tab cycling to be in order, then try cycling through them.
Session saving/restoring is also broken.
-
@ryanchuang: can confirm, pretty annoying (but of course, somewhat expected to have annoyances when running an Snapshot version)
-
@cqoicebordel: would be nice to have this only for spaces...
-
@Ryanchuang I can confirm that, happens on all my systems.
-
Mute related keyboard shortcuts don't work. Is it just me?
-
@npro Not just for you.
-
@Pesala Right, then its bug-report-time
/edit: reported as VB-57344
