hi. i just instilled it and looking forward to use it as my default browser (like on my PC). here's what i experienced thus far.
After installing it, i enabled dark theme. I then logged onto my account as well as sync. After that, the app crashed for no reasons and i have restart the app. At this point dark theme was gone (theme not applied) and menu for the theme was gone also. I then un-installed it to re-install it and all is ok now.
Syncing bookmark seem to take a but, even though the app said sycned. After about 5 min, all looks ok.

first run : no problem syncing, no crash problem, etc...
it depends maybe on your android version and your internet speed connection for syncedit : dark theme gone after a re open of the app, issue to be fixed on the next update (and the settins is not there anymore lol ^^)

Workaround for dark mode: Go to
vivaldi://flags/#enable-android-night-mode
and enable dark mode.
After that, you have to relaunch Vivaldi twice. -

Include information about the phone model and Android version as well.

Confirmed the dark theme issue. Anyway Binka solution works.
Mi5 Android 8 (Oreo) MIUI 10.2 -
Dark theme worked fine for me. So far no issues at all.
I'm using Infinix Note 3 with Android Nougat.iomari

I can also confirm the sync issue aswell

Just installed, this is my first post from my phone.
Does sync take a while the first run? Asking because I don't see the changes yet.
Edit: and of course they showed up right after I posted this, lol.

I lost dark theme again last night. i have no idea what may have caused this. Above line did fix it and back in business.

I loged in to sync, app said sycned, I see my avatar, but bookmarks not synchronized. After reinstall app I lost dark theme, but sync is ok. Dark theme fixed with vivaldi://flags.

Indeed the black theme option is removed.......:(
Perhaps because there is a sync and a customised theme in the profile ??

Please submit a bug report with the following info:- username of the account you tried to sync,
- error message shown (if any),
- a screenshot of
vivaldi://sync-internals
and the Sync settings page onvivaldi://settings/sync/
can help or
click on Dump Status onvivaldi://sync-internals
and send us the content that appears in a small box below the button, - time when it happened,
- detailed steps to reproduce the issue.
Please share the VB number you receive via email here so we can quickly follow it up internally.
