First!

@ruario

That was quick!
-
When you fix this error that occurs using special characters such as etc. in the search bar. A small and annoying error that only occurs in the browser, so please fix it. This is now the 6th request.
-
The calendar is still there…
-
@potmeklecbohdan: yes we know. Don't have a fix yet but I decided not to worry about it for now. More important to get a fix for that freeze before we hit the weekend
-
Please remember: "Window Background Image" vivaldi://settings/appearance/ (without "Blending Window Accent Colour with Image") looks in many cases like now
V2.7 line:
-
@ruario: Funny, I see the calendar only in the 32 bit version, not in the 64bit version ...
-
Once again had to go through the whole palaver of logging in on forums in order to get into this page - when the hell is this going to be fixed, I ask myself...
The announcement of the latest version refers to 1640.3, by the way...
Sometimes the Vivaldi site is like having children: you grind your teeth sometimes but you still love them (most of the time)... -
On debian/xfce, the toggle button for window/maximize doesn't always respond. When maximized, then clicked to shrink to window, it won't maximize unless it is minimized first.
And vice versa.
The icon doesn't change either when that happens and tab is flush with top of window .
Same on Manjaro/xfce, but ok on Win10. -
Search hang is still here in 2.8.1650.3
-
VB-52446 is still an issue, therefore is the Frisian Language not usable for months now.

When attempting to download attachments from an IPB 4.x forum (I have not tested with other sources yet), I can only download one attachment. After saving the first attachment, the Save As dialog will no longer open, and I am unable to save another attachment.
-
The Save As dialog will appear again if I close Vivaldi and reopen it, and if I close the tab and reopen it (restoring it from the trash can). I assume this also means that the issue will not persist across multiple tabs, but rather is isolated to a single tab.
-
@GT500 please provide an example link so we can do tests. Today I have downloaded multiple files from sites I visit daily and had no problems. If it can be reproduced sistematically, the bug can be reported.
-
@ian-coog: The IPB forum I frequent restricts downloads to moderators, authorized helpers, and staff members only. Unfortunately it wouldn't be possible for anyone else to use it for testing unless they were given that level of access, which would almost certainly not happen.
-
@ian-coog: I just verified that the issue appears on this Wordpress powered site as well:
https://help.emsisoft.com/en/1597/download-installation/There are several download links there for an Anti-Virus product. The first one (EmsisoftAntiMalwareWebSetup.exe) is a rather small download, and after saving it the issue with the Save As dialog not opening is reproducible for me.

I cannot confirm, I've clicked each one of them, multiple times, and all the times the download popup appeared and I could select save or save as.

@ian-coog: Did the Save As dialog open after clicking "Save As"?
The dialog asking if you want to open, save, or save as was displaying normally. I generally click "Save As", at which point the Save As dialog opens and I select where to save the download. Currently the Save As dialog does not appear to be opening more than once per tab for me.
