Vivaldi 2.7: Bring more productivity to your day
-
What a great surprise this morning! That's a substantial changelog.
-
You did a great job.
Thanks a lot for your work. -
Great to see this release - well done.
-
Small bug: Ctrl+Numpad0 zoom to 115% instead of 100%
-
@Akbalder Ctrl+Numpad Zero resets the Default Webpage Zoom, it does not reset to 100%. See Settings, Webpages.
-
A pleasant surprise, as always with an update of Vivaldi, thank you very much
-
@pesala: Thanks, I didn't saw I changed this setting. :s
-
Thanks for the continued support for Flash!
-
When tabs are muted by default, there isn't a check mark before "Mute Tab". Therefore you have to click twice on "Mute Tab" in order to unmute it.
-
Thanks Jon and team. All good and better!
-
I'm extremely pleased to see a built-in option for muting audio. Eventually I might be able to ditch my "disable autoplay" extension. It is a good start, but IMHO muting audio is the absolute minimum acceptable functionality for this feature.
I'd like to see it go much, much further, with additional options to block all media (especially video) that autoplays, perhaps with the additional option to also prevent it loading/buffering until I click on the page's placeholder or a Vivaldi "this tab contains audio/video" popup/menu.
Autoplay is the height of arrogance in web-design. It assumes not only that everyone has an unmetered connection (or at least one where they can afford to waste money downloading unwanted bloat) - it also assumes that everyone has a superfast connection. It is also excruciatingly painful for surfers with ASD, distracting for surfers with ADHD, and sometimes also breaks accessibility tools.

Always good updates. Glad to see the flash enable option

Thank you so much for all your great work and support.
An thanks for adding the page load information in the taskbar

Really nice work! The list of improvements is huuuuuuge!
I noticed a subtle difference between the previous version and the last one. In the suggestion list from the address bar, the contrast is less visible while hovering on the different results shown. Was this change made intentionally?

@Ornorm depends if you move the selection with mouse or keyboard, they use 2 different colors and it's just confusing, on my custom theme mouse selection seems just light black on black, pratically invisible.
-
@iAN-CooG Hey! You made me discover something (thanks for that ). Indeed, with the keyboard, it's really visible.
I used to use my mouse to select the item I was interested in. And, as mentioned, the contrast was better in the previous version.
Of course, I can live with it but it's just a kind of regression for me in my daily use of Vivaldi. -
Quality update. Noticeable performance improvements on my end. Kudos!
-
Fantastic update, Mr Jon!
And i think they fixed the VB-54872 that i sent too! Now i can use my vivaldi normally again! Many Thanks! -
This is sweet! I'm loving how you are keeping a nice balance of new features and resurrecting Opera
(the good Opera, you know what I'm talking about)
