Bug Report (CPU utilization)
-
Hello,
So I've had this bug since the last update.
Once I open a new Tab my CPU utilization goes to 100% causing Vivaldi to freeze/crash
its occurrence seems to be completely random (happens at different times of the day, with different pieces of software running each time) it doesn't seem to be tied to a specific number of opened tabs either (sometimes it happens when I try to open my 2nd tab and sometimes Vivaldi runs without a problem even with 20+ tabs opened at the same time)
Here's a video that I've managed to capture today of the said issue: Click me to download the video
And this is my DxDiag File: Click me to download the .txt file
If for some reason one of the links is broken or doesn't work here is a link to a folder containing them both.Sincerely yours,

Hey!
Thanks for the quick reply
for questions 1/3/4 and 6 the answers are in the DxDiag file liked above (Download the DxDiag File)
2. Vivaldi 2.6.1566.44 (Stable channel) (32-bit)
5. I am colorblind so I cannot see what's red, what's orange and what's green so here is the HTML file ofVivaldi://gpu
(HTML file)
7. Here are the extensions I have installed
8. I don't have any antimalwars, antiviruses installed/running and I have the windows firewall and windows defender disabled
9. There doesn't seem to be a specific URL that triggered the issue, as you can in the video linked above (Video) The problem occurred this time with the homepage.Again sorry for linking you every time to an external MediaFire page, I don't have the privileges to upload files directly here.
Hope this helps ^^
Sincerely,

Hey!
Both updates are done, it seems like the problem is gone, have been using Vivaldi for about an hour now
with 20 tabs+ opened including the one that triggers the problem the most (speed dial) and the CPU usage was fine (about 4% on average)would update if the problem occurs again,
thanks for the support!

@UBoiii Hmmm why are you using the 32bit version of Vivaldi try using the 64bit version instead 2.6.1566.49 (Stable channel) (64-bit)
you have a modern CPU and GPU and plenty of ram and you're running Windows 10 X64
