Interaction slow on Debian 10 KDE 5 (in Virtualbox VM)

    I run Debian 10 in a Virtualbox 6 VM.
    I recognise Vivaldi 2.6.1566.44 displays content much slower, closing tab or clicking links results in a 1-2 sec delay.
    I tried:

    • deactivate Compositor -- slow.
    • deactivate HWA in Settings -> Webpages -- slow
    • enabled flag vivaldi://flags/#ignore-gpu-blacklist -- slow
