Export Keyboard Shortcuts
I'd love to have my keyboard shortcuts sync as part of the global Vivaldi sync feature but I don't know if/when it is planed.
My question is, in the meantime, can you give me a way to save those keyboard shortcuts so I can restore them on other machines?
Even if it is an advanced solution (copy/past files or even copy/past partial JSON files)
Thank you for your help
@jeromepassions Hi, this is on the roadmap to include it as part of the sync feature.
For now, I'm not sure if it's possible to easily move shortcuts. Maybe by fiddling around with the vivaldi API as you would in a mod might help...
@LonM thank you for this useful reply, can you point me to some documentation about this API?
Maybe there is a file of part of a file that could be copy/pasted too?
@jeromepassions Unfortunately there is no documentation for this. And in any case I'm just making an assumption that the shortcuts may be in there somewhere.
If you want to find out more, I'd suggest checking out the modding forum. https://forum.vivaldi.net/category/52/modifications

@LonM It's quite confusing. You can find a selection of shortcuts saved to local storage, where they could easily be manipulated and backed up, but it's far from complete.
