Filters not working correctly?
-
The filters I set up aren't filtering as expected. For example, I have a filter set up to send all mail from 'vivaldi.com' to a folder named Vivaldi.
I expected this to work for any Vivaldi address, but it does not. No email from vivaldi.com is being filtered. Here is how I have the filter set:
For incoming mail:
match all of the following rules
From contains vivaldi.com
Move message to Vivaldi
Stop evaluating rulesAm I missing something, or is there a glitch in the system?

@Gwen-Dragon Only the forwarding filters (redirect, send copy) have been currently disabled due to spammers abusing the feature, but afaik all other filters should work.
@JoelYoung can you specify how you set up the filter? For example, share a screenshot of the filter page in Settings.

It's exactly the way I described in my opening post, but here's a screenshot....

@JoelYoung sorry for the trouble and thank you for reaching out. Please try again by using the address email entirely instead of using only part of it. Does it work then?

I'll make the necessary changes to all my filters. Some senders use more than one address, depending on which department it comes from, so it will take a little time. I'll bookmark this thread and report back the next time any email comes through that should be filtered.
Thanks!

@JoelYoung Thanks a mil, for letting me know that the solution mentioned above works.
