Weird shortcuts in menu → View → Page zoom in/out
SuperOscar last edited by SuperOscar
Is this a bug or am I the only one encountering this:
In current Vivaldi (2.6.1566.44, stable channel, Linux x86_64) the announced keyboard shortcuts in menu → View → Page zoom in/out are weird, just “0” for zoom in and ”9” for zoom out. The actual shortcut keys are still Ctrl+plus and Ctrl+minus as before.
@SuperOscar It is not just you, and not just on Linux.
If you delete some shortcuts in Keyboard, View, Page Zoom In/Out you can fix the menu.
If I restore the default shortcuts, I also see the issue in the latest Snapshot.
Specs: AMD A10-6800K, 8 Gb on Win 10 64-bit 1809 build 17763.557 • Snapshot 2.6.1581.5 (64-bit)
@SuperOscar Oh, looks like the single key shortcuts are displayed instead of your used.
Some weird things happen if you try to delete the shortcuts, either one at a time, or all of them.

I hadn’t even thought that those numbers might refer to numpad keys, because I don’t have a numpad I actually tried “0“ and “9” from the number row of the keyboard but obviously they don’t work.

I note it is not new, I have the same issue (i.e. 0 and 9 get displayed, though I have "single key shortcuts" off) on
2.5.1525.40 (Stable channel) (64-bit)

Don't you have a keyboard layout requiring Shift to write numbers? Vivaldi ignores what you are writing, it just listens to the keypress and interprets it into US layout.
Numpad keys are marked as
@SuperOscar I can confirm that on Linux Debian 9 KDE 5, too.
