Snapshot 1.0.233.3 - Reload bypassing cache shortcuts and a visual clue for Rewind



  • A new week and a new snapshot. We are still a little light on staffing during the holiday period, but we have a few more updates for you nonetheless. Highlights today include shortcuts for reloading the page bypassing cache, better visualization of what “rewind” does and fixes to the URL field selection, Quick Commands and tabs.     1. I've probably never checked (or noticed) it before - word search (CTRL + F) doesn't work with national chars???…. :unsure:

    2. Win x64 still in "experimental" phase - random tab hangs same as in older builds :P



  • Fix the address bar please, bring back the drop down menu of typed urls. and option to disable this really annoying auto complete in address bar. All my friend use it and they miss it in chrome. i m going to tell all of them about Vivaldi once it have this long old feature.

    I am not sure what you mean by this. If I search the French forum page for "ou" or "où" both work the same, finding all instance of "ou" with or without the accent. Do you mean that searching for "où" should not find words with "ou" ?

    That's exactly what I'm talking about :)
    For me it's a bit strange behaviour - Vivaldi is my only application that breaks this convention….
