    For me this works fine so far with the exact link you marked with the red box - but I am on windows so this might be one hint.
    (I tested with Viv 2.6.1566.31 (32bit) on win 7 (64bit) only extensions running: µblock, canvas fingerprinting and vivaldi forum-mod)

    As starting point to trouble shoot I'd go for a new private window and try if this happens there too.
    Next step would be to have a closer look on your extensions, which ones do you have installed?

    @paul_nim I can not reproduce it on 2.6.1566.40 x64 | Win 10 x64.
    I tested your report VB-54718 and replied. Please wait until Linux dev sends you a debug version.

    @paul_nim said in Vivaldi crashes when I click a link in DuckDuckGo infobox:

    The issue does not seem to happen in a Private Window

    The it may be a extension issue.

    The issue happens when I create a new profile.

    Do you mean without installation of extensions in this new profile?

  • @Gwen-Dragon

    The new profile had no extensions installed. I got an email explaining how to get Vivaldi's crash dump using gdp. I responded to the email. Here it is - https://pastebin.com/0CVaWcYm

    It appears to have something to do with ad blocking.
