I'm a tech writer and I often need to take screenshots of web applications. Mostly I take sections of the screen but sometimes I need to take a larger view of the application.

I'd like a setting to configure a browser window size so that I can take screenshots with the browser window at the same dimensions.

I need to save this because it might be some time between "application" level screenshots and I'll have changed my browser size in between.

@Psider I would also find this useful, but we might have to wait a while for this to be implemented.

Meanwhile, you could try a utility like Sizer. No doubt there are others.

I am testing the latest 64-bit version 4, and it seems to work well. Right-click on any edge of a restored window to choose the desired size.

I also write documentation and tutorials for various applications that I use. I use FastStone Capture to record videos and like to resize the window to 1024x768 to keep the videos smaller and to cater for users who might be using smaller monitors.
