Address field fixes – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1566.6
-
@QuHno (VB-54086) Shift-Del on address field dropdown not working if NumLock active
-
@cqoicebordel: Oh you!
-
@iAN-CooG Confirmed
-
For a moment i thought you had fixed the number of panels thing....
-
Tab tiling still barely usable. Any news on that front?
-
@gwen-dragon: Good to know, thanks.

Is anyone else thinking that 2.6 might be a good place to skip a Chromium release? 75 came out yesterday, 2.6 is probably more in the middle of its testing than near the end, and Vivaldi has been getting progressively more behind over the last handful of releases.
If you incorporate 76 instead of 75, then 2.6 could have a nice gestation period over the next 6 weeks or so. That would mean fewer complaints that it was pushed out early (a recurring theme) and be almost perfectly in sync again. Yes, that would mean a longer period between public releases, but it's happened before, and there's a good reason.

Unfortunately, Hbo does not work any further. I wrote an email two weeks ago and no answer. It turns out that I gave the opera a pity

@PardusPars The cursor keys already work. Press Enter to select the section; press Tab to focus the list of features and to move through them one by one; press space bar to enable/disable a checkbox.
-
Did you just did it https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/25878/don-t-resize-tabs-immediately-after-tab-closure/10 ?

@altcode: +1

When we can have the Opera greatest behavior with bookmark bar? It is, with a single click, all folders inside a bookmark bar are opened instantly when the mouse passes over it... another great thing is that you can open more than one link in a folder with middle click without closing that dropdown of links.
-
@Cjcr Please vote for the existing feature request.
Open Subsequent Folders on Bookmark Bar
For now, simply use the Bookmarks Menu (Alt+B).

Middle clicking seems to paste selected text.
For example you can highlight some text on one tab. Go to another tab and middle click on a text box and the selected text will be pasted.
This also seems to automatically paste selected text into the addressbar if you middle click on a blank space on the Speed Dial page.

@Ornorm You coulda been a contender, you coulda been somebody...
-
@ugly Can't confirm on Windows 10. What OS are you using?
-
@sirfredrick Oops, I forgot to include my OS in my original post.
I'm on Linux Mint 19.1
-
@ugly Can confirm on Ubuntu 18.04 LTS. Middle clicking causes highlighted text on other tabs to be pasted.

I noticed a strange behaviour, if you have a tab pinned and then switch to another tab, middle-clicking on the pinned tab shrinks every tab to pinned size until you move your mouse away from the tab bar, which reverts the tabs to their original size. What is that, a planned change in WIP mode, or a bug?
/edit oh and once you 've done it, middle-clicking on the pinned tab will expand and shrink its size again until it reverts to its original state as well when moving the mouse away

@npro Can confirm. It looks like a rather amusing bug to me.
For information on how to report a bug, see this URL: https://vvld.in/how-to-report-bugs
Once that is done, please share the bug number (beginning with VB-). Thanks.
