Can't open web.whatsapp.com

There might be an Issue with the UA, but I have 6 browsers on my pc (chrome, Opera, IE, Maxthon, Firefox and Vivaldi) and only vivaldi experience that Issue, I've tried using a UA switcher but the problem remains, I hope it get's fixed soon, It's annoying having to switch to another browser just to open a certain page :T

For issues with websites (like WhatsApp) blocking based on User Agent. You can often work around the issue like so

@Mpc46 The error message certainly implies that the UA is the problem (read it as "You are using an old version of Chrome" ).
Have a look through https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/36772/web-whatsapp-com-can-no-longer-be-accessed for alternative switchers.

@TbGbe Before making this post I've made a research to see if someone had the same issuem I already read that post, and as I said before changing the UA, doesnt make a difference, I think I've tried them all, incluiding:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 10.0; Win64; x64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/73.0.3683.86 Safari/537.36with name Chrome 73

Why not send them an e-mail about it https://www.whatsapp.com/contact/?subject=messenger
I already did. The more the better, no?

@npro I thinks it's easier for vivaldi to fix it, sometimes if you want to see the world pink, it's easier to wear pink colored glasses than force everyone to wear pink :T
@Mpc46 Hello. It's not Vivaldi issue. The website decided to block Vivaldi based on our UA string. Browser sniffing became popular again.

@Mpc46 Did you see what they wrote? "To use Whatsapp update Chrome or use Firefox, Edge or Opera", everyone else who is not paying their ransom is not listed. Those other browsers you have listed are running probably on Chromium 73 or less, until 73 every browser supported whatsapp, but I seriously doubt that their versions running on Chromium 74 as Vivaldi 2.5.x does will work with it.
cc: @lamarca Time to dump them I guess, there are good alternatives anyway, no way to support extortioners.
I guess this is about new Vivaldi update because I updated my browser last night and I was using WhatsApp Web without any problem before that.
Sorry for the trouble, the team is looking into this issue. In the meantime please try this workaround that we share here: https://help.vivaldi.com/article/user-agent-spoofing/
It won't work on the web panel unfortunately. Thank you for being patient with us. Also this topic is being discussed in so many topics that I'm closing this one and we'll update you once the fix is out here: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/37195/vivaldi-2-5-breaks-whatsapp-web
