      I would settle for a refresh hotkey, I don't think there is one - for the side panel I mean. Someone correct me if I'm wrong. I could not find in in ctrl-f1

      but also, the ability to set an auto-refresh timer for a side panel would be awesome... why? sometimes some people have the side-panel open for a long time and having to hit the Home or Refresh buttons to refresh the page becomes old quickly...

      But I assume setting a hotkey would be easier to implement, so that is the feature I would request first.

      Why is that useful? Well look at it this way, there already are a slew of great hotkeys for side-panel navigation CTRL ALT + panel # or next/previous panel...

      but lets say you go to the next panel... now what? if you loaded it already, it won't have any new information there - so you have to reach for your mouse and click the refresh or home button to reload.

      Then you hit the next panel key again... again same problem... you get the idea.

      Side panels are really awesome but not being able to easily refresh them is not ideal.

        @dalinar Hi,

        There's already a request for Auto-Reload Options: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/24149/auto-reload-options

        But the request for keyboard shortcuts for the panel is a new one, and makes sense, so I edited your request title.

          @dalinar The hotkey is an idea.
          About the refresh, could be a duplicate of this.

            @LonM just to be clear, the refresh I'm talking about is for the side-panel like Hadden posted a link to. Auto-Refresh of a tab I think is not that important because there are many chrome extensions that can do that, but unfortunately you can't install any extensions that help with refreshing a side panel.

              @dalinar On macOS simply toggling the UI will refresh a webpanel. It's a problem. Before something like this is implemented, webpanels need to be stopped from reloading in all unexpected circumstances, that's far more important lol.

                    Big vote for this too. Having a keyboard shortcut to open a panel is all well and good, but when it's a stale page there it's not very useful. And since I've opened the panel with the keyboard, having to reach for the mouse to right-click inside the panel (or hit the reload button) is not ideal.

                      This would be really good. I like to turn off the toolbar because I rarely use it, and having to turn that back on just to refresh the panel on the rare occasion that I have to is a pain.

                      ?

                        @xandork You can as well use the context menu.

                          @potmeklecbohdan Thanks, I never use the context menu to refresh so I didn't notice it was there.
