-
Today’s snapshot resolves numerous regressions, improves the performance of the address bar for users with history set to forever, and includes a minor Chromium bump.

@ruario Thanks.
As my mum said when I was born: “I have been expecting you.”

@pesala: Most of us in Oslo have been on vacation recently.

Add Active Tab is in the wrong place. To be useful it needs to be at the top where it was, and where it still is in Opera 12.18
-
I don't see tab tiling slowing everything down in known issues, but I was discussed under last post. Hmm. Is it fixed? Gonna try
-
Any news about the bad performance in tiled tabs that's been introduced a few builds ago?
Also the download dialog issues are still present in this build (file size always is shown as 0, "Save as" & "Open" buttons not working, always saves instead), might be worth mentioning this bug in "known issues".
-
@jacekn: seems to be fixed \o/

Yeah, this is bad. It makes no sense to place on the bottom of a huge list...
-
@jacekn: Not fixed for me unfortunately. It was one of the first things I checked.
What I did to test was open two youtube videos side by side and try scrolling in both. Scrolling in one of the two will be
not be very responsive and will produce jerky scrolling movements. -
Was this problem ' extension symbols in address strip not repaired with this update also clickable '?

I'm liking the new tab rounding look! Some questions:
-
Is there a way to make speed dials fill the maximum possible size? Right now all I can do is make them fill the size of the columns, but if the window is narrow, they don't re-flow and get bigger in fewer columns.
-
Who made the new profile icons at chrome://settings/manageProfile - was that you guys or chrome? Either way they look much nicer.
[Address Bar] Sluggish with history set to forever VB-51937
I see that this has been solved by just removing the history from the address bar altogether. It does work, my error, it's just delayed now.[Reader] Button is not shown on session restore VB-47244
I wonder if this is related to another bug I was seeing with the reader button not showing up. I will investigate more.
[Sync] Fix the formatting of countdown component VB-51196
Heh, Seeing that bug amused me quite a bit.
[Tabs] Active tiled tab blinks when switching tabs VB-50220
Thank you . I hoped this would fix VB-50885 and pages being laggy when moved to new windows (or being tiled), as it was often those pages that most exhibited the same tiled tab blinking bug, but alas that issue still occurs.
Import / Export notes
Yeah... this isn't quite ready. I see why you didn't put it in the release notes. It just dumps a load of poorly named .txt files (not even .md?) into the directory. Looking forward to it though!

i can say that the issue VB-51086 is fixed too. But whatsapp still doesn't work on webpanels. It only works on normal tab page with and agent switcher.
-
Inspecting extension settings pages is still broken. I was hoping for a miracle there.
And for anyone changing buttons in the address bar: the button titles seem to have been moved from the div to the button tag itself again.

It works for me now. I can right-click an extension page, and inspect doesn't crash anything. Hurrah! Though the fact that it wasn't mentioned as fixed in the changelog is a bit concerning.

@LonM Isn't fixed on my install.

Yeah, those are really nice, I love the origami look. Reminds me of the art of these guys for games like Shelter:

So many corrections, thank you.
-
Concave corner rounding on the tabs is nice, but looks less round than the top, more like a simple bevel. This is maximum 14 pix rounding @ 100% UI Zoom
-
@Pesala I had noticed this too, but wasn't sure if it was just my display or not.
Checking again with ShareX's magnifier I can see that the rounding isn't quite as large and the edges are not quite as smoothed.
The top seems to cover 6px to change direction, the bottom only uses 4px.

@lonm: Indeed Import / Export of notes was intentionally left out. It probably should be in experiments at this stage to be honest
