Bug: New tab + button cannot get selected & Vivaldi critique
-
Hi,
when I need a new tab and don't want to use a shortcut, I use the plus button at the top of the screen of course.
The fastest way of doing so is to move the cursor all the way up to top of the screen (until it can't go any further) and click the + button.
When doing so it highlights the + but you can't select it. Unlike in Firefox & co.Please fix it quickly. Using Vivaldi is getting increasingly annoying for me
because none of the issues I post on here are getting fixed and I often have to switch browser due to homepages that don't work. It's incredibly frustrating.Examples: can't write a review on Google maps. Can't use forward button on the side of the mouse to leave the home screen and so on.
I have been waiting forever for those fixes.Unfortunately I will be forced to switch browser if nothing changes.

@lord-chaos That the plus button is missing a few pixels of clickable area despite still showing tooltip is already known (for a few days I think).
Regarding you critique, I hope you do know that this forum is to discuss bugs and features to see if there is already a solution or just a wrong usage or a misunderstanding etc. but for a real bug ticket you need to send it to the developers via this site: https://vivaldi.com/bugreport/ -
Thank you.
I believe all of those issues did get reported a long time ago.
So I was hoping to raise some awareness by posting it once again.
Some bugs just seem so obvious and easy to fix that I am flabbergasted to still see them.
I am not entirely sure the developers use their own browser or do they just ignore it all or what is the reason? The only reason I complain so much is because I actually care.
