"Tell DM we are Chrome to avoid a sporadic User Agent block (VB-51363)"
Wow, Vivaldi has the ability to take the initiative itself and "tell" sites this kind of thing?!

Confirmed now UA spoofing working on dailymotion, still some of the videos that once complained about not being able to play them, show some decoding artifacts.
This one shows green bars

this one's image is all skewed

This, at least on my work pc, that has Intel on board graphics and had to force chrome://flags/#ignore-gpu-blacklist enabled to even make them play. Both links work 100% on my home PC with a nvidia card, so it's just a problem with a card-less pc.

@gwen-dragon:
Almost any site with video except for youtube.
https://ww2.naruspot.tv/watch/naruto-shippuden-episode-470-dubbed/
that link plays fine on my PC. Do you have Use Hardware Acceleration enabled in settings? maybe check vivaldi://gpu
-
The video plays just fine.
The arrow keys no longer work to navigate back and forth through the video.
-
my vivaldi button is not showing but when I click at the right spot, the menu pops up
in another profile it's ok, but where can I tweak my main profile
I never did something with moddingWin7x64 Vx64 standard installation
€dit: with the horizontal menu everything is ok
-
@derDay The color of the Vivaldi menu icon at the end of the title bar has apparently been indvertently changed. It's very light/white here. I suspect it will be addressed pretty quickly.
-
The Links on Settings, Sync to vivaldi.net don't serve any useful purpose, and why are they hidden on the Sync tab of the settings dialogue? What do they have to do with sync?
If anywhere, they might be on the Help menu, but won't users bookmark these links if they use them?
The Community Link is already on the Help menu.
-
clicking middle mouse button on webpage links no longer open them in new tab?
-
@archive1 it works for me
-
@archive1 It should open links in a new background tab, and does for me.

Thank you for all the work daily/weekly. Let's not let Locking Speed Dials feature slip out of our minds. It's not a cool request, but it's one that's a priority. At least, please let me know why dragging speed dials shifts their order by a single pixel? This needs fixing yesterday. Accidentally sliding over a speed dial when you just wanted click on it is odd to keep in these builds.
-
@Vividal This issue does not deserve a higher priority. I don't know why you keep nagging about it.
You have to move the speed dial thumbnail a long way (past the centre/middle of the adjacent thumbnail) before it actually changes places. That's about 250 pixels.
If your experience is that they change their order when dragging by a single pixel, best submit a bug report. If others had that experience we would see dozens of posts about it.
Are you using some extension or Windows accessibility option like Sticky Keys?

It hasn't been functional on my Manjaro/KDE install for several weeks
Oh, how odd. It continues to work fine for me. If you try a clean V profile, or create a 2nd V User, does it work ok there?

Both links work fine for me [now that i have this new SS], with NO dedicated video card, just the mere integrated Intel graphics.
-
Stable version also needs to fix that at every startup of Vivadi, "What's new" page is shown.

I can reply for him: because it's damn annoying the speed dial can't be resized natively and we have to use a css mod to shrink the thumbs sizes, and THAT is causing the misbehaviour, at least to me the mod makes the sensitivity to thumb dragging more acute.
If your experience is that they change their order when dragging by a single pixel, best submit a bug report. If others had that experience we would see dozens of posts about it.
It can be that, like me, nobody bothered to report it, I know it's caused by a mod so there's no reason to complain. I'd rather see the feature of better handling of SD thumbs geometry being taken into consideration.
-
@Steffie my work pc intel cpu is a really old core 2 duo g6950 2.80ghz (in use since circa 2009) so we can have different experiences.
-
@pesala: Nope. I've seen others have the same complaint. And it does take priority because the speed dial page is the standard/default homepage for almost everybody.
-
@lonm: Update: Strangely, the downloads now shows the correct "fading out" for deleted files. I think this happened after I had initiated a download.
-
@Vividal Then you should start a new thread in the appropriate forum: Windows Forum if you're using Windows, etc.
Provide a recipe how to reproduce the issue, saying if you're using any modifications (like iAN CooG) or extensions, or external software.
The feature request to lock the speed dial is not related to the bug. If the bug does what you say then it should have a higher priority than a Feature Request, which is only a workaround to block the bug.
