Ebay Selling Manager (FIXED Build 1.0.403.17)
When using the selling manager on ebay, when choosing to print an invoice, it brings up a blank screen, and the previous screen turns to a dead bird.
i cannot say this can be my main browser, because as a business, we cannot print any ebay invoices. the page loads a blank page. every other browser works ok.
It shouldn't be your main browser since this is just an alpha for testing purpose.
We're kinda working as testers.
Anyway I think you may want to use a stable browser for business stuff
"every other browser works ok."
Every other browser is not an alpha
pretty basic though to open a page, even on an Alpha test.
Crocodile - I am sorry that you are having printing problems. I have not yet run into any printing problems and I have been using Vivaldi since the end of January. I have 6 printers listed in Win 7 Devices and Printers – two are locally connected USB printers, another is a network printer and three are PDF printers. All of these printers show up when I chose "print" in Vivaldi File menu. I select whichever printer I need to do the job and then it just prints out. I have printed from my bank sites, eBay listings, Amazon, my local library, newspaper, etc., etc.
Are you having problems with any other site on Vivaldi or is it just eBay manage? If it is just eBay then I would question their site rather than Vivaldi.
Not on about the browsers print function.
Be lucky to get to a print page. As soon as I select invoice and next it brings up a blank page. The page I came from is a black page with a dead bird.
Its not Ebay issue surely,
many builds later, keep praying the next will fix the ebay seller issue, i get to the print postage labels page, select invoice at the bottom, continue. That is it, will not display the invoice to print. Only difference now is that it says page not responding, and doesn't show the dead bird. Before people jump on and say its ebay. I can open chrome, firefox and many others, and it will display the invoice to print. Help please developers.
quick update:- hopefully this will help to fix the problem, as reported above it goes to a page not responding page, by accident i went back to the same page and hit continue again, the page that showed not responding, now shows the invoice i need. So to test the theory i closed all tabs, opened ebay selling manager and repeated the same steps, exactly the same. It will load only after the 2nd attempt.
still same issue on latest builds with you have too select continue twice to get the invoice page to load.
Is the Invoice a PDF form that loads into a frame in a browser tab? I've the same issue in Opera 12 with lengthy pdfs loading into a frame. Try clicking Esc button while the tab freezes loading.
no its not PDF. page address http://k2b-print.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll should show a printable invoice. But doesn't unless you go back and press continue for the 2nd time, even refresh doesn't load it.
The page address you posted is incomplete. Did you check if the link you used the 1st time was a complete link pointing to the invoice generated for your transaction? Was the 2nd link different from the 1st one, i.e. more complete?
this is the full error
Latest Build - Still not able to get the invoice up
This must be the longest in history of Vivaldi, that no one has addressed this issue, no point in posting bugs, if no one is bothered to help fix it.
sorry for not reacting earlier. Which Vivaldi's version are you using? Also which operating system and version do you have installed on your computer?
In case you're using a version earlier than 1.0.390.3 would you please download this latest version from here:
Please let us know how it works.
ps: Just in case, we couldn't open any of the links you posted as we get always get the following error:
Page Not Responding
The eBay page or feature you are attempting to access is not responding.
Please try the options below:
Try to access the feature directly from the eBay Home Page, instead of using a bookmark.
Wait a few minutes and try to access the feature again.
If what you are looking for is unavailable, you may still be able to access other parts of the site from the eBay Home page
every build has had the issue. The issue with the address is more than likely to do with the fact that its my login into the seller account, so you cannot view it. I can send you the page source by PM if that will help of the page you select the invoice to print, and then the source for the failed loading. The odd thing is if i go back and resubmit the same, it then loads correctly. The invoice page states its text/html
if i use developer tools it shows this
Failed to load resource: the server responded with a status of 404 (Not Found)
:woohoo: Happy for the weekend, and my ebay works via Vivaldi now.
