@Pathduck Still works fine here... but then again, it never stopped working for me in recent SS's either, even when others posted of hassles with it.

All the issues I mentioned for RC1 are still present in this version.
- Enabling or disabling an extension option results in the buttons disappearing (e.g. Allow access to file URLs).
- Hibernated icons dim even if setting required to do so is turned off.
- Option-clicking the panel icon does not enable or disable floating panels.
- The profile icon disappears while in guest mode.
- The trash icon does not work while in guest mode.
- The home button should be disabled while in guest mode.
- Private windows can still be opened while in guest mode.
- "vivaldi://guest-intro" text should be absent from the address bar, just like "vivaldi://startpage" is absent in a regular tab.
- vivaldi://startpage, vivaldi://bookmarks, and vivaldi://history are not disabled while in guest mode (vivaldi://settings and vivaldi://extensions are disabled, which is inconsistent).
- All pages briefly show the following error message before loading:

Uhm, I tried changing some option like Allow access to file url or Allow in incognito... and I confirm it toggles on/of the icon. Really weird.

@iAN-CooG Did you enable/disable the extension itself, or one of its options (e.g. Allow access to file URLs)?

I had completely forgotten about this issue as I ended up re-building my workflow of printing to just download for reading in an external PDF viewer.
My workflow seems to be different. I'm ordering a lot of products from different websites. I'm usually printing the product descriptions as well as the order confirmations to a PDF printer (PDFFactory) that collects all pages in one document and then save the final PDF document in the appropriate folder. So in my case, there is no option to download a PDF, I have to create it first by virtual printing.
By the way "Save to PDF" doesn't work either since Vivaldi is not even able to render the preview of the page for printing.

@PardusPars Similar issue here, bookmarks duplicate when dragging from one folder into another folder, and do not retain their title. I'm really hoping the developers address this, it's not the kind of bug I had to deeply hunt for, its a bug that disrupts my daily usage

@Gwen-Dragon Yes I reported the bug a few days ago on the previous snapshot, i'm just seeing that this is a release candidate version and that this issue might still be in the final 2.4 stable and I'm like "come on guys"

Still experiencing issues with reloading Speed Dial thumbs, I see this as a regression from 2.3.

@Gwen-Dragon Sorry, I reported again because the "How to report a bug" page said they can't process bug reports with more than one bug, and in my first bug report I mentioned both the duplication issue and the title disappearing issue. I figured these would be seen as two separate bugs, so I just made a new report for each of them

Not sure if you folks did something in this version, or if my sistem went gaga, but when I resize windows with the mouse now, releasing the click doesn't release the window. I have to click again for it to let go, and it is currently a bit annoying.

Alright, it's been a couple months since this issue started so I might as well say it here because it still hasn't been fixed.
My financial institution's website barely works on Vivaldi, I don't know why, left click doesn't register 50% of the time on the Log On button, can't change the language of the page in the options at the top, nothing. But if I try to change the language... and simply click Ok without changing anything, suddenly left clicking starts working again for a short period of time. Otherwise I have to Middle Click on the login button to get another tab open with the login page... Getting this issue on all my computer with Vivaldi. Works perfectly fine in other browsers. I really have no idea what cause this or why.

Extension pop-ups appear to still be very buggy. Only one can be properly closed per window. Here are two examples (the extension amount doesn't matter):

I'm having issues with dark mode on Youtube.
It'll be off at general view then go back to dark mode when viewing single video. -
Yesterday via @xyzzy https://forum.vivaldi.net/post/280398 i learned of a use of the Profile thingie i'd not previously considered [dimwit, me]. I tested it first in a VM, liked what i saw, so then did it to my real V-SS. Both of those, then, were RC1.
Now both those V-SS's are RC2. The real V's 2nd User, today, is at 100% vanilla out-of-the-box settings. The VM's V's 2nd User, today, still has all the theme & other custom settings i made yesterday, except that its Mouse Gestures are all at vanilla out-of-the-box.
There's no problem with my primary User in either real or VM.
Today, i sincerely thought that yesterday i had fully configured my desired MGs in the VM's 2nd User, & i sincerely thought that yesterday i had fully configured ALL my desired settings in my real V's 2nd User. Either i'm fully deluding myself & in fact yesterday i did not make those changes, OR, today's update from RC1 to RC2 unwound some/all my 2nd User settings respectively.
Can anyone pls shed light on this -- ie, has anyone noticed some or all your 2nd User settings reverting to default when your RC1 updated to RC2?
Maybe i was unconscious all day yesterday & simply had a vivid fever-dream?
