@sjudenim Nothing can be moved into the addressfield. It's not a bar. I can move any of the buttons at the left of the address bar to the status bar, and any of the buttons on the status bar to the other end of it (other side of an invisible divider or to the address bar.
I don't use the extension toggle (because I don't use extensions), so it's hidden, Let me turn it on and see.
Edit: Ah. the extension toggle is not on a bar, so it can't be moved.

Thanks for checking.
This is my complaint with the current state of the toolbars. We were able to achieve the things I mentioned with some simple mods, but now we can't because of the new way the buttons and bars have been written. I just wish features were fully realised before implementing them into a stable release, like how the mail client seems to be being treated...

@sjudenim Patience... Things have to be addressed one stage at a time, and what those stages ultimately consist of depend a great deal on what alterations Chromium makes every six weeks. The intake of Chromium 73, for instance, triggered a ton of regressions.

I do not care for matching the color of the UI to the webpage. A browser is a tool, not a source of "Wow". I have real life for that, and books should real life get a bit dull.

@JLConnor3 Hello JLConnor3,
that's what is great with Vivaldi, you can choose to have the "Wow" or, if you prefer not to have it, just ignore the "Wow". -
@JLConnor3 , I also do not need Vivaldi to adapt to the UI of the pages I visit, for me it is important that I can adapt this tool to my needs in functionality and aesthetics. This of course is WOW.

Not sure why the other replies didn't comment on this, but: you know you can easily turn that off, right?
Settings -> themes -> edit theme -> de-select "accent colour from active page"

@mossman. Yes I do, but thanks nonetheless. I just don't understand why these alleged "improvements" must be turned off instead of letting people know that the option is available for them to turn on. Will be interested to see if it defaults back with the next upgrade, which will be even more irritating.

I do feel sorry for software developers in some sense,so many silver platters to cater for and everyone wanting everything catered just for them...Developers cannot do right for doing wrong,,I do find some of the comments on here childish and nit picky..is it really so hard just to turn things on or off.

To be fair this particular thing isn't an "improvement" since it's been part of the Vivaldi UI design since before version 1.0.
