Make CTRL+L highlight the entire address bar
-
One of the key "movements" I guess you could call it in my browsing is CTRL+L. Open up a tab, see what I need to see, and instead of bothering with CTRL+W then CTRL+T, I would just use CTRL+L and it'd immediately highlight the bar to overwrite. In a previous update, that functionality seems to have been removed. Now, it simply puts the cursor at the end of the current URL and requires me to use CTRL+L a second time. I would normally adjust, but I just can't think of any scenario where that behavior would be preferred over immediately highlighting the entire bar.

@bepri I believe this was a bug introduced a while ago. It seems to work properly in the latest snapshot, though.

@Komposten Hello there,
For me it's fine. The key F8 perform the same action
Did you by any chance tried the search as I stated above?
In case you you able to repro, please report it. -
@lamarca It's fine for me too and it has been that way for a while. In a previous version there was a known bug that "Focus address bar" didn't select the text, but it has since been fixed (I cannot remember in which version, though).
