Bookmarks bar context menu support – Vivaldi Browser snapshot 1483.4

Result of clicking folder in bookmarks bar used to include the option 'Add current tab' (or similar wording). I no longer see this - just folder contents list.
Can't see obvious setting relating to this. Intentional, bug or my configuration?
Win10-64It is intentional in the way that it is present in the new right click context menu of the bookmark menu. The new menu is intended to only contain bookmark items. I have not investigated how to add the old entry in the new menu code we use so I can not say if that will be trivial or not.

this is indeed not working, Seems that now it's not called simply ".find-in-page" but ".find-in-page toolbar toolbar-default"can't get it right, doesn't work for me.
anyway thanks for taking a closer look at it. -
@gt500: I got this message as well, but found no options in the themes sections in settings.
-
@djprmf: Same here on Ubuntu Linux 18.10. It only works when all the extensions are shown.
-
Drag and drop from the address bar in to the bookmark panel does not work anymore. On a different installation it is still working. Checked the settings between both, but I don't found the cause. When I try drag, a little plus is shown, in the other installation not. Can someone tell me what is wrong?
Edit: Found the solution. If floating panel is active, then drag and drop does not work. Ist it "works as designed"?

@gt500: I hope there will be support for Roccat peripheries as well. I'm using a Roccat Ryos MK FX keyboard and a Roccat Kone XTD mouse.
-
@Gwen-Dragon Is this regression: VB-48889 - When "Floating Panel" is selected, it is no longer possible to drag tabs into the Bookmarks and Notes Panel
PS: Appeared just before the release of the Stable 2.3 version, so it's already old.

You have enabled some Sorting for the bookmark bar? Drag into does only work with Sorting set to Manual.
Manual Sorting is active since I use Vivaldi.
The only different is really the Floating Panel. Checked it twice.Edit: Drag to Notes icon is possible.

@mrmamen: You need to look in vivaldi://experiments for the option to turn it on. See my second screenshot posted on the 14th.
-
I miss the "Add Active Tab" in the Bookmark Bar. Is there a setting to activate it?

@Gwen-Dragon I only tried the Notes and it doesn't work, so i assumed that it doesn't work yet in the Bookmarks, sorry i was superficial.
For the Notes they changed the method to add them, using your procedure works while before you had to drag it into the box, ok just be aware of it. -
@Mikefield To me, that voice is only available inside the folders.
PS: If you have many bookmarks and they arrive at the bottom of the bar and you see ">>", in the drop-down list that opens when you click on it that item appears on files and folders.
-
@altcode: If they do the same for the Logitech Software, I would be happy
-
@Folgore101 Oh yes, you are right it's inside the folders. Thanks for correction.
But where is the "Add Active Tab" inside the folders of the Bookmark Bar gone?mf

Does this mean we can right-click on a subfolder now and open all the bookmarks in that subfolder by clicking Open, which we currently can only do via the Web Panel Bookmarks?
Yes, you can do it.
Yay!!!!! Been waiting for that for a looooooooong time! Might even switch to the Snapshot version to avoid the wait for the stable release.

What do you mean? I didn't understand the question.

These images should clear up some doubts.

[regression] Vivaldi disables flash player by its' own, even if you allowed it, on http://www.ansa.it/sito/videogallery/italia/2018/06/07/ruby-ter-fadil-il-rispetto-e-finito-8-anni-sono-tanti_4cb1c3fc-2277-4c02-8d71-ca7ccefe306f.html
Try this:
- open http://www.ansa.it/sito/videogallery/italia/2018/06/07/ruby-ter-fadil-il-rispetto-e-finito-8-anni-sono-tanti_4cb1c3fc-2277-4c02-8d71-ca7ccefe306f.html
- click "ALLOW", when prompted to play Flash animations
- wait for the page reload, to complete
- you'll see that the video is not played and that the Flash icon in the status bar will become a "one way" sign, by its' own
- flash animation will not start
The same page works perfectly with snapshot 1476.4.
anyone confirms?

[regression] disabling an extension, actually removes it
try this:- disable an extension (move the blue lever to disable it)
- restart Vivaldi
- you'll see that the extension has been uninstalled, instead

moving extension icons around is broken

@archive1 Try with
