show/hide hidden buttons
-
Those three dots at the top right of the address bar, used to show/hide the previously hidden buttons, now it just toggles the unhidden ones on and off. I'm on the latest snapshot, what am I missing here? I preferred the old behaviour tbh. Thx!

@vulture You're talking about extension buttons?
-
@Gwen-Dragon Does not work in the latest snapshot: if you disable the extension toggle it disappears completely. So hiding a button is essentially a permanent action (you cannot show it again unless you uninstall and reinstall the extension, as far as I know).

This is my extensions bar:
I have at least 2 extensions hidden, and the extensions toggle is turned off. There used to be a 3-dot button to the right of Bitwarden's icon and clicking on it would show/hide the hidden extensions. That button is missing, so I cannot access the hidden extensions unless I enable the extensions toggle (which defeats the purpose of being able to hide extensions).

@Gwen-Dragon Are you saying that the 3-dot-toggle should never have been there in the first place (when extension toggle is off)? If that's the case, how do I get it to show my hidden extensions?
(Your sentence isn't entirely clear to me, so maybe I'm misunderstanding you.)

This Opera workaround may help for Vivaldi as well until the bug is fixed.
I didn't tested myself. -
@Gwen-Dragon
This is what it looks like in 2.3 Stable. From top to bottom, we have:- Extensions toggle enabled, and collapsed.
- Extensions toggle enabled, and expanded.
- Extensions toggled disabled, hidden extensions hidden.
- Extensions toggled disabled, hidden extensions visible (cjs is hidden, shown by its shaded background).
You toggle between option 3 and 4 by pressing the toggle button. In the latest snapshot, option 4 is inaccessible since the toggle button does not exist.
Edit: Also, the hide option in the context menu of an extension icon doesn't seem to work anymore, either.
