Button that displays extensions in a drop down menu...
-
Please add an option to have an "extensions menu" button that displays extensions in a drop down menu. I know we already have an option for an "extensions toggle" button but that works differently, because that is toggling a toolbar, not a drop down menu.

I'd like to see this as well. As it is, having a lot of extensions creates a LOT of clutter when toggling.
I for one have about 15+ extensions as a result of toggling the button. A drop down menu like in Firefox would be really helpful for this or something more like chrome's implementation.
Also, perhaps allowing for extensions to be removed from the extensions toggle/drop down menu altogether.

please also vote on the first post to support this request.

This is one more of the things that i find odd.
It seems every browser does some things really well, yet other things not so much. Having a dropdown menu for this just makes sense. Another option would be the ability to show/hide each extension in the main extension toolbar.
But i guess Vivaldi can't do everything perfectly. Hopefully it's something that gets looked into at some stage.

Aside, I'm using [E]xtension Manager
Since I started using extensions of this ilk I'm more mindful about the extensions I have installed and enabled
I was using [C]ustom Chrome before which lets users toggle on/off groups of extensions - useful for specific use cases (e.g. I'm YouTube browsing and want a bunch of YouTube specific extensions enabled) - but the extension had/has poor performance IMO
If anyone has any additional extension management hacks I'd love to know
Hope this helps

I hope this request will be accepted.

this request is done

@TsunamiZ Okay. Is it accepted or not? Because now I didn't see a drop-down menu for the extensions.
-
in settings, use search to find...
"expand hidden extensions to drop-down menu" -
@TsunamiZ Okay. I didn't expect a modded Version of this [rewritten]. I expected this (one by one the same result of these pictures):
In Chrome [native]:
In Opera [a bit rewritten]:
Brave [native]:
Vivaldi: [not native] [completely rewritten]:
If I am installing more Extensions, the GUI is going more left and more left, and it's not like a list with name and settings icon [like the browsers from the pictures].
Have a nice day.

the vivaldi version basically works like an auto collapsing toolbar. and you can more quickly click the extension you want with less mouse movement because the extensions are closer. you can also rearrange extensions by dragging them using SHIFT+CLICK.
