Custom Search URL config to export / import
-
Hello!
It would be nice to have an option to save manually added Search Engines. We have a lot of them and moving them from one computer to another is time consuming the manual way.
Preferred way would be via registry import or .xml configuration file which can automatically be imported when calling vivaldi with a set of parameters.
This missing feature prevents Vivaldi from being used acrossed mutliple workstations and have it properly supported in a commercial environment.
Kind regards,

@Chas4 There was already a duplicate request about importing from other browsers here: https://forum.vivaldi.net/topic/25251/import-search-engines-from-opera-and-chrome

@LonM Is it that Vivaldi and other Chromium based browsers have a different format for search engine set ups?
Side note I have some old Opera 9.6 images still form back in the day (back in 2008)

@Chas4 All chromium browsers have the same setup, and if they didn't the format of a search engine isn't particularly difficult.
But it just takes developer time to add support for importing data like this.
