How to manually Restore Tabs after crash?
-
crash happened, next start no more tabs i had, trash bin icon inactive. Old Tabs and Old Session defenitely have them, but if i try to close Vivaldi, delete Current Tabs and Current Session, copy "old" and rename them to "current" - on next start Vivaldi will ovewrite them with empty. what other files take part in this, why it's happening?!
right now i'm writing from Vivaldi's rival Cent browser, same Chromium based, and same actions with only 2 files help it in case of need - why Vivaldi is so "special" in a bad manner??!

thanks for lots of help, advices and hints, really helpful.
for those who may get in same situation, here's the solution. unlike this guy my variant is more simple, but more bothersome too.
- first of all you need to have Last Tabs file, so right after crash and getting blank tab bar, close Vivaldi and don't start again, or that file may get overwritten
- simply drop Last Tabs file in some notepad program(not sure if Win default suits, i used AkelPad)
- all links of tabs are there, including history of every tab, so it's a huge mess = i advice to make a search for "http, as among all links those to be in quotes seem to be the ones belonging to tabs you had.
good luck.
