Use Text in the Address Bar as input for search (right click option)
-
One can mark almost any text, right click the marked section and "search for" it. But not texts that are in the address bar. I however do occassionally have to look up fragments of site titles, which also appear in said pages URL. Would be possible to add "search for" function to the right click menu in address bar as well?

@opera6rules I don't think it is practical in the Search With menu, which is for search engines.
Find in Page could, perhaps, include the URL field.
Try searching in the Quick Commands dialogue (F2)

Sorry, I have caused misunderstanding. I do not want to do a search within the URL. I want to pick words (highlight them) which are part of the URL an start a websearch for them. Just like one can highlight any text on a webpage and then choose "search for [text]" in right click context menu.
We already got a similiar context menu in address bar. But this one does only contain "copy", "insert", "insert notice" and so on. Not "search for". I know that this a very specific request, but it does appear to be very easy to implement. Just use show the same context menu when rightclicking on text in addressbar as is currently shown when rightlicking on text anywhere else.Nowadays I have to mark the text I want, copy it to clipboard, and paste it to a searchfield somewhere else (which I have to open first). That's uncomfortable especially if one does not want to move between mouse and keyboard.
edit: I corrected thread title to avoid future misunderstandings
