Vivaldi 2.2.1388.37 web search delay

When I enter a search term into Vivaldi and please enter nothing happens for upwards of 10 seconds.
The browser then returns the sought after information.
Grateful for any help or advice in correcting this problem.

Can confirm I was experiencing similar issues after pressing enter
️in the address bar. This behavior happens whether directly typing a URL in the address or loading a link. I don't think the delay on my box was up to 10 seconds but did notice a sluggish response after pressing enter.

Did you use Vivaldi 2.3 Stable?
How long was the delay?
