Additionally, you may need:
Tools/Settings
(use the settings search field for "animation" )Window Appearance/use animation
o.k. that's it, thanks. but I saw it a bit too late. IMHO Vivaldi developers should have a closer look at this - how should anybody know that these settings have a dependency?

@npro: I believe that this (i.e. the spinner) must be the only indicator. There must be a choice to get rid of all the other indications inside the address bars - does anybody understand or notice what they are doing?
I always notice the progress in the address bar. Spinners are just a waste of UI space to me

@ruario: Clock tease.

Sync doesn't seem to be working at all for me in this release (using Win10).
I started with a clean user profile (new User Data folder)
Logged into sync
Entered Encryption password
Sync Immediately reports "Sync data successfully downloaded from server"
Sync now just sets at "Waiting for sync data to be committed" but never does
I have logged out of and back into sync, no change. Stopping\restarting Vivaldi makes no change. -
@Gwen-Dragon I've been noticing this too. The only extensions that I imagine might be causing it (as I don't have privacy badger) are HTTPS Everywhere or uBlock Origin.
If I reload the PDFs a couple of times the progress bar eventually goes away, though even if the progress bar doesn't finish, the PDF still loads properly.

the rest is to add the icon of selected search engine into search field. and mail client, of course. the only features I'm still waiting for
-
At last, thanks. Maybe the loading animation could look different or nicer because in active tab in dark themes it look worse?
Also I think now Page title notifications looks worse.

Am I still the only one with crash when switching to view in notes panel?
See it helps:
- move Notes and Notes.bak somewhere else
- rename Notes.bak to Note and move it to the profile folder
-
After closing a video from fullscreen, the favicon on the background tab is spinning and keeps spinning until the video finishes.

It doesn't help me (I also tried renaming it to
Notes
—notNote
) -
@potmeklecbohdan Sorry for typo. I remember you deleted both files (Gwen's tip), and no crashes.
The Notes file is corrupted, or a unique entry, which requires time and patience to know which one is.Edited.

I edited the post after few minutes because I noticed the problem doesn't happen when opening the panel, but when switching to view (even if using new auto-generated file). So the file is OK.

@potmeklecbohdan Which view?
-
@lamarca The
M↓

@potmeklecbohdan Thanks. If you get the dump after the crash, report a bug, you will receive a mail, attach the log file and send it. Please, post the VB number for our follow up.

Congratulations. It is so nice.
