Going to black, then returning

On a number of sites, the whole screen goes to black, then returns without explanation. It happens frequently enough to be an annoyance.

I've noticed something perhaps similar as well with the 2.2.1388.37 (Stable channel 64-bit) version on WIn10-1803, but what I've seen happens rather infrequently - perhaps 2 to 4 times a week during continual browser usage. It's infrequent enough that it's quite jarring when the whole window goes black for a second or so, then reappears. I've not discerned any pattern or particular site involved since it's so infrequent on my Win10 system. The sites I do recall seeing it happen on have had 'inset' video players (newsites, etc), but they weren't necessarily in screen view when the blackout hit.
It might be useful to note :
- your video card & drivers
- the url of the site(s) you experience this on

For the system on which I've seen this happen, it has an integrated Intel HD Graphics 630 processor with 128 Mb of VRAM and access to 4Gb of shared system memory. The problem has occurred so infrequently that I have no clear recollection of which URLs have been involved in my case... though I'll note them should it occur in the future. On that system, Vivaldi is set to "Use hardware acceleration when available." I've not noted any other video-related issues.
edited to add: The black window just occurred at this website: https://abcnews.go.com/US/wireStory/winter-storm-slows-travel-plains-states-heads-east-60485876 , but it did not recur upon a revisit. The page contains 2 small auto-play videos on the lower left. The whole Vivaldi window inside the outer frame went black about 5-10 seconds after visiting the site, lasted for about 1 second, then the page reappeared - typical of what it's done at other times.

CNN's article pages consistently give me black screen. The whole screen flashes black, then the center, web page part, refreshes, but the Vivaldi interface around the edges remains black until I scroll my mouse back over that part of the window.
After using Shift-Esc to end process on subframes, I found one consistent offender would keep reloading and retrigger black-flash: consensu.org
If I end that process, most of the black-flashing stops happening until consensu.org loads again, which it will several times, each time accompanied by a black flash as soon as it loads. If I continue to kill that process vivaldi stabilizes and consensu.org eventually stops reloading.
It can take several seconds to start glitching. Try scrolling way down page and back up again:

@dragonbits Going black on CNN is known and a GPU issue consuming too much memory. I know this bug is in bugtracker, Vivaldi devs are working on it to fix.
