Inserting Horizontal Rule on Blog
-
@Pesala said in Blog Article on Vivaldi:
BTW: Can anyone tell me how to insert a horizontal rule in a blog article?
You mean, hr?
-
@pauloaguia Yes, that's what I tried, and this was the effect.
-
Oh, silly me. You probably mean Vivaldi's blogs... I don't use those, so wouldn't be able to say. But if it uses the same markdown writing as these forum, maybe the --- on a line by itself would work? (needs a blank line before)

@pauloaguia Unfortunately not. I already tried that too.

I forked the topic about Horizontal Rules to the Blogging Platform forum.
Hyphens just appear as hyphens on the Wordpress blog:
`---

Try this:
<hr />
It seems it needs to be a self-closing tag (with the final slash).
-
@LonM No joy.
-
@Pesala ahh, are you typing into the WYSIWYG editor, or the code editor? You can switch using the Visual and Text tabs at the top†.
I also see that there is a button to insert a new line‡ if you are using WYSIWYG.

@LonM Text mode works to insert
<hr>
I see only the first row of the toolbar in Visual mode.
