2.3.1420.4 Screen get green while watching video
-
Video playback on this version causes the screen to become green frequently . Experiencing this issue while on Amazon Prime & Ryzen APU with Vega 8 . All default settings . Donot have this issue with other browsers .
modedit changed title to match post

Turning off HAL helps, but dont think that's the ideal way as it limits video to 720p and draws more power . FYI this issue wasn't there with the previous build ; so looks like a bug to be squashed

@Gwen-Dragon OK .FYI noticed this on Prime video

Similar issue here
@Gwen-Dragon said in 2.3.1420.4 Screen get green while watching video:
Green screen can be a crash of GPU,. driver issue or incompatible Chromium code with GPU driver
Issue wasn't present on earlier version. How can I roll back to previous version?

@vkk178 I just saw your bug report VB-49105 - "Green screen on Prime video and few other video sites"
Video bugs are difficult to replicate on different hardware and there seems to be some problem with Ryzen+Vega, because another user had a similar problem with a Vega 11 yesterday...Would you mind answering to the automatic mail you have got from the bugtracker and add some of the missing info I have described here: https://quhno.vivaldi.net/2018/12/01/how-write-a-good-bug-report-for-video-bugs/
Especially the GPU info mentioned at the end of the blog post might be interesting.
Thanks in advance
