@Hadden89 Please report the bug, reply to report mail and add LonM's image to describe it.
⇒ Bug is: VB-48283 "Text shown in reverse order after drag&drop to Vivaldi panel UI"
Not just after drag & drop to the panel: also on the full page (outside of a panel).
-
@Gwen-Dragon Also mouse on taskbar/start menu (w10) area can trigger this, not only the panel.
-
@dakingof: It seems that switching to my GPU(on my laptop) instead of running on my internal card fixed the animations on the site.
-
I think it's about time for a new build, what do you say?
-
@Gwen-Dragon User is a swearword to denote people who want useful output from the computer they paid for.
-
@Gwen-Dragon It was a quote I read a long time ago when computers were really expensive and the programmers tried to do something good for their customers. Nothing to be sorry for from my side.
Snapshots require testing and it will take some time to provide the best experience. We see an update when it is ready to be released (aka WIR). -
@Gwen-Dragon I see the coding. Thanks!

I'm having an issue with backward typing in search engine fields. For example, after doing a search in the url bar with Bing, then doing a subsequent search in the Bing page search field, the search word is then typed backwards. This is apparently a regression, as I remember this one from last summer. Forgive me if this is a known issue.

@gigzama: Welp, I see someone already mentioned it above. I'd delete this if I could.
-
@Gigzama You can, it's in the 3-dot menu, next to the the down-vote arrow.

Lately, I observe a strange behavior from the browser: first, there are some random and not identifiable crashes and second, sometimes the browser freezes - it can only taskbar-minimized but not maximized or changed in size or even closed and the only way to get out of this situation is to shut it down via the task manager. Of course the (non critical) mouse problems are still there: sometimes I have to click one or more times on a link to open it and sometimes (very frequently) by clicking the mouse button on a link, a whole part of screen text is selected and I have to click on another part of the screen to un-select and "neutralize" things before the link becomes clickable again.
-
@npro same here. Using Windows 10 (not tested on Linux/macOS).

Also, not just on DDG, I noticed it on Weblate as well.

@Gwen-Dragon
IT does not happen straight away. I've found it take a couple of days.
